Boracay Airport (MPH) isn’t actually on Boracay, but it remains the main gateway to the island. It’s actually at the northern tip of Panay Island, but it takes less than 1 hour, including a boat ride, to get to Boracay Island once you're out of the airport.
Also known as Godofredo P. Ramos Airport (sometimes by its old name, Caticlan Airport), it’s a relatively modest place but has the facilities to receive medium-sized jet aircraft flying to and from international destinations. The good thing about its small size is that the process of immigration and baggage collection is usually quick and easy.

Getting to Boracay from Boracay Airport
To get from Boracay Airport to Boracay Island, you first have to take a tricycle (motorised tricycle) to get to Caticlan Jetty Port, about a 5-minute ride away. The pier is less than 1 km west of the airport’s terminal – you could probably get there on foot if you’re travelling light.
From there, there are regular boat operating daily from 5am to 10.30pm. It’s about 2 km from Panay Island to Boracay Island, which takes around 10 minutes. Once at Boracay Port, you have to take another moto tricycle to reach your hotel.
Boracay Airport is just next to Caticlan Town, and there are many bars, restaurants and stores if you want to replenish yourself while waiting for the boat to Boracay Island or before checking in for your flight home.
